Fan-shaped wooden fruit basket – curved slat table basket custom design, raw An Cuong plywood

The fan-shaped fruit basket is a custom design from our workshop: 9 thin curved wooden slats fan out from two handles, forming an airy boat-shaped interior – placed in the center of a dining table or on a kitchen shelf, the basket not only holds fruit but also serves as an elegant wooden decorative item. Functionality: 37 cm long interior for a bunch of bananas laid lengthwise, 25 cm wide in the middle, 10 cm deep for oranges, apples, mangoes, dragon fruit; curved slats allow fruit to breathe, preventing condensation. The widest gap between slats is 2.6 cm in the middle of the basket, narrowing towards the ends: medium and large fruits will not fall through; grapes and longans should be kept in bunches. Two handles with 10.5 x 3.6 cm grips, can carry a full basket weighing about 4 kg. Structure: 13 pieces of 18 mm EPA-standard An Cuong plywood, left raw, CNC cut from flat panels – curved slats are cut lines, not bent wood; 9 slats are mortised invisibly into the two handles, two crescent-shaped feet slot into the bottom slats; only 4 hex socket screws, no brackets, no glue, no drilling required. The bottom of the basket is 2.6 cm from the table surface, with 4 felt pads under the feet. Usage notes: as the wood is raw, only place dry fruit, wipe with a dry cloth or a well-wrung damp cloth, do not immerse in water; the basket is not a toy, do not allow small children to put their hands into the slat gaps or climb/sit on the basket. Dimensions 40.6 x 30.6 x 21 cm, weighs about 1.3 kg, ships flat-pack in 1 package; one person can assemble in about 10 minutes using the included hex key.
