The apricot blossom candy box is a custom design from the workshop for the Year of the Goat: the box body has five apricot petals made from layered wood with visible grain, six compartments to hold enough candies, nuts, and jams for guests, and a lid in the same floral shape with a goat face knob featuring curved horns and droopy ears – placed on the tea table during Tet, the box serves as both storage and a decorative item to welcome the Year of the Goat. Functionality: 6 compartments, 3.6 cm deep – a central round compartment Ø9 cm and 5 petal compartments, enough for wrapped candies, melon seeds, cashews, coconut jam, ginger jam, small cookies. The lid has a rim that fits over the box opening, preventing displacement, ensuring the lid's petals align with the box, sealing out dust, and not intruding into the compartments; lift the lid by the goat face knob. Construction: 11 pieces of 18 mm high-quality standard EPA-compliant plywood, natural finish, CNC cut, wood glued at the workshop – 3-layer body, pre-glued lid and knob, delivered as a whole piece, no assembly required; the exposed plywood layers on the box edges serve as a decorative feature. The goat's eyes are two small Ø8 through-cut holes, all corners are rounded, edges are smoothly sanded; 4 felt pads on the bottom. Usage Notes: As the wood has a natural finish, wet jams and soft jams require a paper liner or paper cup before placing them in the compartments; wipe with a dry cloth or a well-wrung damp cloth, do not soak in water, do not put in the dishwasher; lift the lid by the knob, do not carry the entire box by the knob.
