Kid-friendly height for 15 months - 4 years old: top surface is 55.4 cm high – a 15-month-old can see the entire top surface, with book covers displayed at eye level; a 3-4-year-old can still reach and see comfortably. The top surface is flat, books lean against the upright back panel with covers facing out; two sides protrude 10 cm, front corners are softly rounded. 6 toy compartments: bottom row is 25 cm high, suitable for baskets, toy bins; top row is 23 cm high, suitable for activity trays, block boxes; each compartment is 37.6 cm wide. Closed back prevents items from falling out. The bottom shelf is 2 cm from the floor, with a front kick plate covering down to the floor – preventing small balls and blocks from rolling underneath. Shelf surfaces are flat, without ridges, easy to dust. Montessori display suggestions: display 4-6 books with covers facing out; one item or one basket per compartment so the child knows where to get and put things back; rotate some books and toys every 1-2 weeks.
