The corner-entry cat house is a custom-designed 45 x 45 cm, 44 cm high box-shaped cat house from our workshop: the entrance is a corner opening at the front-left corner, the front and left walls are cut with the same 24 x 24 cm shape with a flat top and a large arc, so cats can enter and exit from two sides and people on the sofa can see the cat; the cat room is 40 x 28 x 35 cm with a 3 cm ledge to hold a cushion – a beautiful solid wood piece that looks like a side table next to a sofa. Secret compartment: behind the cat room is a compartment 10 cm deep, 40 cm wide, and 35 cm high (fits A4 documents upright, wallets, notebooks, tablets, small boxes). There are no external signs – the back is a smooth, solid wood panel. The compartment can only be opened from the inside: reach through the cat door, hook a finger into the small recess on the lid of the 33 x 20 cm inner wall opening and pull it out; the lid is held by 4 pairs of magnets hidden in the wood, a 4 cm high sill prevents items from rolling out. Premium craftsmanship: the flat 45 x 45 cm top serves as a side table (holds up to 20 kg); all joints are hidden mortise and tenon for positioning and 8 stainless steel corner brackets with recessed hex screws inside, no visible screws on the outside, no exposed tenon ends on any edge; four walls are recessed 8 mm below the top and bottom surfaces, creating a slender ridge around the block; four legs are 5.4 cm high stacked wooden discs; all edges are smoothly sanded and rounded. Material: 18 mm EPA-standard An Cuong plywood, unfinished natural, CNC cut. Ships flat-packed in one box, self-assembly with included hex key in about 25 minutes, no glue (magnetic catches and magnets pre-glued at the workshop).
