Dinosaur bed – custom-designed kids' bed for 1.2m x 2m mattress, EN 747 compliant, An Cuong plywood

The Dinosaur bed is a custom-designed kids' bed from our workshop for 6-12 year olds: the 1.06m tall headboard features a chubby, smiling dinosaur with big eyes, rosy cheeks, and feet with recessed holes revealing the plywood layers, while the back spikes are rounded waves along the top edge; the footboard is a tail cone with gradually decreasing spikes, and the two side rails are carved with dinosaur footprints – giving the child's bedroom a dominant character. Dimensions for a 1.2m x 2m mattress: bed frame interior 122 x 202 cm, mattress thickness 10-15 cm, slat base height 28 cm, so mattress surface is 38-43 cm, allowing children to get in and out and sit on the edge comfortably. The slat base has 13 rows of 10 cm wide plywood slats spaced 6 cm apart on the side rail supports and a central beam with two floor-standing legs, capable of withstanding children jumping; load-bearing frame compliant with EN 1725 (user up to 110 kg). Child safety: all gaps are within the permissible ranges of the European children's bed standard EN 747-1:2024 (less than 7 mm, 12-25 mm, 60-75 mm, or over 200 mm), no holes 130-230 mm; back spikes and all protruding tips are rounded R ≥ 25 mm, panel corners R ≥ 15 mm, no protruding parts above the headboard, smoothly sanded edges, recessed hex screws. Materials and craftsmanship: 18mm EPA-certified An Cuong plywood left natural, CNC cut, all body lines are recessed. Flat-pack delivery of 9 panels + 26 half-slats, 10 stainless steel corner brackets, recessed hex screws and hex key; hidden locating mortise and tenon, brackets and screws ensure firm hold, no glue; printed instruction manual included, two people assemble in 40-60 minutes.
