The ladder frame desk shelf is a custom-designed shelf from our workshop for your workspace: two side frames cut from a single trapezoidal piece, with a soft S-curve at the top edge extending to the back lip. The shelf surface is 52.8 cm high, leaving a 51 cm clearance underneath for your computer monitor – allowing books, speakers, and plants to be placed on the shelf, freeing up your desk surface, and making your workspace tidy and a focal point. Functionality: 51 cm clearance under the shelf (48.8 cm under the front lip), 96.4 cm wide – fits 24-27 inch monitors on stands (approx. 41-46 cm high) or 34 inch curved monitors; the top edge of the monitor will be at or below eye level when seated, following ergonomic recommendations. The 96.4 x 21.8 cm shelf surface supports 15 kg; the 1 cm front lip prevents items from falling towards the keyboard, and the 9 cm high back lip keeps books and items from falling off the back. Structure: 5 pieces of 18 mm EPA-standard An Cuong plywood, raw finish; the shelf surface is mortise-and-tenon jointed into the two frames and tongue-and-groove jointed into the front and back lips; only 4 hidden hex screws through the frame; no glue, no drilling required. The frame base is raised 5 mm in the middle, so the shelf stands stably on 4 leg ends, with the rear column vertical and flush against the wall. Safety: all corners are rounded (rear corners R20, frame interior R30), no finger pinch points; the shelf is light, so wall anchoring is mandatory (anchoring strap not included, sold separately; pilot holes are pre-drilled in the rear column). Dimensions 100 x 35 x 62 cm, weighs approx. 6.5 kg, ships flat in 1 package; one person can assemble in about 15 minutes with the included hex key.
