Desk shelf with secret compartment – custom monitor stand, pre-glued An Cuong plywood

This desk shelf is a custom-designed monitor stand from our workshop, CNC-cut and pre-glued into a single unit: the flat top surface 60 x 23 cm is for displaying small plants, figurines, or earbud cases; on the left are 6 Ø16 holes for pens, on the right is a tilted phone stand with a slot for charging cables to pass through to the back; the front features four open compartments measuring 7 / 10 / 20 / 14 cm wide – a piece of decor to tidy up your workspace. Secret compartment: beneath the floor of the compartments is an 18 mm plywood tray sliding within a thin cavity. The front of the tray looks like the shelf's base strip, making it unnoticeable. To open, reach behind the shelf and push the end of the tray forward by 15 mm; the tray will pop out at the front, then pull it all the way out. The tray has three pre-milled recesses for cards and folded cash (9 x 6 cm), keys and USB drives (11 x 4 cm), and rings (Ø4 cm). Overall dimensions 60 x 23 x 11.8 cm plus 4 mm rubber feet; the top surface extends 4.7 cm to the rear, allowing monitor bases to slide underneath. The shelf only occupies 18.3 cm of desk depth, so a 60 cm deep desk with a 24-27 inch monitor still has enough space for a keyboard. Supports monitors up to 8 kg if the base is less than 23 cm deep. Materials and craftsmanship: 18 mm EPA-standard An Cuong plywood with a natural finish, CNC-cut, hidden joinery and wood glue applied at the workshop; all edges sanded smooth, rounded corners; rubber and felt pads.
