The Montessori Cloud Bookshelf is a custom-designed piece of furniture from our workshop for your child's reading nook: a cloud-shaped back panel with four bumps, two tiered book shelves to display book covers forward, a top shelf for decorative toys, and a toy bin below. Children can see the covers, choose books, and put them away themselves – true to the Montessori spirit. Child-friendly height: book shelves are 31 and 57.5 cm high, the top shelf is 84 cm, and the cloud peak is 112 cm – accessible for children aged 1-6 whether standing or sitting on the floor. The two tiered shelves have a 3.5 cm high lip to hold books in place, and picture books 22-28 cm lean against the lip of the upper shelf so covers are always visible. The toy bin is 25 cm deep, with a low 12 cm barrier for easy access. Safety: all corners are rounded, edges are smoothly sanded, no finger traps (all gaps ≤ 8 or ≥ 25 mm); the shelf stands on two 30 cm deep side panels. The back panel has 2 pre-drilled holes for wall anchoring – anchoring is mandatory as the shelves can become steps for children to climb (wall anchors and screws sold separately, depending on wall type). Premium craftsmanship: cloud and beveled side lines are seamlessly CNC cut, edges are smoothly sanded; hidden alignment joints, 10 recessed hex screws fastened from the outside of the two side panels; no brackets, no glue, no drilling required. Dimensions 80 x 30 x 112 cm, weighs approximately 24 kg, ships flat in 1 package; 2 people can assemble in about 30 minutes with the included hex key.
