This low floor table is a custom design from our workshop: a single 70 x 40 cm rounded-corner tabletop, set on two slender ladder-shaped leg frames cut from a single piece, with rounded inner frames and slightly raised feet – a compact Japanese-style low table, perfect for sitting on the floor or placing over your lap in bed. Functionality: The tabletop is 30 cm high, the ideal height for a low floor table (28-33 cm), and can still be used on a bed; the 62 cm space between the leg frames fits over your lap when in bed, and the 25 cm front clearance allows for comfortable cross-legged sitting. The 70 x 40 cm tabletop is large enough for a 15.6-inch laptop, books, or a meal tray; it supports up to 30 kg. Construction: 5 pieces of 18 mm EPA-standard An Cường plywood with a raw finish; two rails under the tabletop are mortised into the leg frames and mortised into the tabletop, secured by only 4 stainless steel brackets with hidden hex screws under the tabletop; no glue, no drilling. The feet are raised 7 mm in the middle, ensuring the table stands firmly on its four corners, with felt pads to prevent floor scratches. Safety: All corners are rounded (tabletop R30, legs R12), no finger traps; low table, stable when leaning on the edge. Dimensions 70 x 40 x 30 cm, weighs approximately 5 kg, ships flat in 1 package; one person can assemble in about 10 minutes with the included hex key.
