Custom-designed countertop knife block from our workshop: a curved plywood swan-neck body supports a 3.6 cm thick knife block, with four knife blades left open below for ventilation, quick drying – keeping your countertop tidy while serving as a rustic decorative item. The knife block consists of two layers of plywood joined to form a 36 mm thick block, with 4 horizontal slots measuring 6 x 52 mm: suitable for chef's knives, Santoku knives, bread knives, paring knives; blades up to 24 cm long will fit within the base without touching the countertop. The open blade design prevents water accumulation common in closed blocks, and allows you to easily select the right knife. The U-shaped base with two splayed arms ensures stability when drawing knives; the top of the body rises into a rounded ear behind the block. Dimensions: 19.6 x 18.5 x 29.1 cm, weighing approximately 0.6 kg. Four 18 mm EPA-standard high-quality plywood panels with natural finish, precise CNC-cut joints – the two-layer knife block comes pre-glued at the workshop, so assembly takes just 2 steps: slot the curved body into the U-shaped base, then fit the knife block, no drilling needed.
