Custom-designed trivet for dining tables: two engineered wood planks in a curved bow shape, cross-interlocked, four raised ends support the pot base, with a lower center for heat to escape – for hot pots, clay pots, hot pans, or food plates, protecting the tabletop from heat. Each plank is 20 cm long, with two ends raised 5.2 cm and a Ø2.5 cm round hole, narrowing to 2.8 cm in the middle; the underside is arched so only the four ends touch the table, allowing air circulation beneath the pot. Ships as 2 separate pieces: slot the two planks together through the CNC-cut notches in one easy step, no tools needed, to form a 20 x 20 x 5.2 cm cross, weighing approximately 0.13 kg; the round hole at the end of the plank is for hanging on a kitchen hook. The engineered wood is 18 mm thick, with finely sanded edges. Wipe dry after use, do not soak in water, do not put in oven or microwave.
