The 2-tier fruit rack is a custom kitchen rack design from our workshop: two open-front trays, the upper tray is recessed on two diagonal bars, allowing visibility and access to fruit on both tiers; slotted bottom and back for fruit ventilation, soft-beveled side walls – compact on the countertop yet like a decorative item. Functionality: each tray has an inner length of 32.4 cm, depth of about 17 cm – fits bananas, mangoes, oranges, apples; front lip is 4.3 cm high to prevent fruit from rolling off, back is 9.2 cm high; the upper tray is recessed 7.3 cm and 9 cm above the lower tray, making it easy to place and retrieve fruit from the lower tray. Each tray holds about 4 kg; heavy items like melons and grapefruits should be placed on the lower tray. Construction: 12 panels of 18 mm high-quality standard plywood, EPA compliant, natural finish; hidden alignment joints, only 8 hex screws, no glue, no drilling required. 4 felt pads under the feet protect the countertop from scratches. Usage notes: place on a flat, dry surface, away from the stove; wipe wet fruit dry before displaying; clean the rack with a dry cloth or a well-wrung damp cloth.
